Overview
Facility Signals is a commercial-intelligence service for businesses pursuing workforce, procurement, facility, and other commercial opportunities. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to this website and the services offered through it. It does not apply to the public business information included in delivered research findings, which is described below.
Information you give us voluntarily
We collect information only when you choose to provide it:
Through the intake form
When you request Opportunity Intelligence monitoring — your name, business name, work email address, optional phone number, service line and description, named accounts or target geography, requested signal and opportunity types, exclusions or incumbent restrictions, facility preferences, and any notes you add. We also record your consent checkbox and the date and time you submitted the form.
Through a team account
Authorized team members can create an account with an email address and password so they can sign in to internal tools. We do not offer public accounts; visitors do not need an account to browse or submit a request.
Through paid research
If you accept a paid research scope, payment may be completed through a third-party payment provider. We may receive confirmation of payment, the amount, and the email address associated with it so we can match it to your request. We never see or store your full card details.
Technical and usage data
This site does not run advertising trackers, analytics packages, or cross-site tracking. The only technical data involved is what is unavoidable in operating a website and its hosting: standard server logs kept by our hosting provider (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, used for security and to keep the site working), and a session record stored in your browser only while you are signed in to a team account. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy before doing so.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to: respond to your request and assess whether its monitoring scope is researchable; monitor, research, verify, filter, and match alerts to your criteria; deliver agreed reports and handle corrections and support; operate, secure, and improve the website; process approved payments through a payment provider; communicate with you about your request and, with your consent, follow-up options; and comply with law and resolve disputes.
Business research data about facilities
Our research uses public, legitimate business sources: official facility and operator pages, government and licensing records, public procurement postings, and current professional directories. Public-source opportunity information can change. We record business contact paths — such as a role, an official phone line, or a business email listed publicly — not private or personal consumer information, and we never bypass access controls or collect data from restricted sources. If you represent a facility and want your business record reviewed or removed from our research, contact us and we will review it.
Email and communications
We email you about your request, scope review, delivery, and support. Ordinary requests are handled asynchronously and do not require a meeting. Marketing follow-ups are sent only with your consent, and every such message tells you how to opt out. If you ask us not to contact you, we suppress your record and stop outreach.
Payments
If paid research is agreed, payment may be processed by a third-party payment provider. Your payment details are handled under that provider's privacy policy. We receive only the information needed to reconcile the payment with your approved research scope, such as payment status, amount, and associated email.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers that operate this website, its database, and its payments, and only as needed to run the service, deliver your order, or comply with law. We may disclose information if required by a lawful request from authorities, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Third-party services and links
This site may link to third-party services. When you follow those links or complete a payment, the third party's own terms and privacy policy apply. We are not responsible for their practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.
Data security
We use reasonable, industry-standard safeguards: encrypted connections to the site, access-controlled databases with row-level security, restricted administrative areas that are never publicly visible, and team accounts limited to authorized people. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we take protecting your information seriously and restrict access to those who need it to do their work.
Data retention
We keep intake submissions, order history, and delivery records so replacements, reorders, and support stay accurate and so we do not resend facilities you have already received. Payment records are kept as long as needed for accounting and tax purposes. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete it or de-identify it. If you ask us to delete your data, see Your choices below.
Your privacy choices and requests
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time using the link in any message or by contacting us. If a facility or contact wants their business record reviewed or removed from our research, we will review the request and act on it. To make any of these requests, email us using the contact information below; we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children's privacy
This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date. If a change is material, we will also note it prominently on the site. The version in effect when you submit an intake or make a purchase governs that interaction.
